Tiemeyer Cycles, Inc. is a privately held corporation established in 1999 and managed by David Tiemeyer to meet the needs of cyclists. He is best known for his design and construction of the United States Olympic Team Bicycles for the Atlanta, Sydney, and Athens Olympics. As a well respected builder, Mr. Tiemeyer has been chosen to build frames for many World Champions, who have gone on to win World Titles and set World Records on his bicycles. Before immersing himself in the art of bicycle frame building, Mr. Tiemeyer was involved as an aeronautical engineer with helicopter rotor blade construction. It is no coincidence that the Signature Tiemeyer Bicycle Frame resembles such blades. Years of competition have proved time and again the strength and aerodynamic efficiency of Tiemeyer Bicycles.
